The Old Hairdresser’s

Stephanie Lamprea and Richard Craig return to the Old Hairdresser's with new works for soprano voice, flute, and electronics. This electrifying evening includes the world premiere of Stuart MacRae's Prehistory, a mammoth new work that reflects on aspects of Scotland’s early peoples (i.e. Neolithic, Bronze Age and Iron Age) through the materials they used for everyday existence: bone, skin, wood, metal, stone, air. Stephanie and Richard also play recent works by Seyoung Oh, Bethan Morgan-Williams, and Patricia Alessandrini.
